Divergent Series review

Divergent series is a set of Three latest movie and one under production based on the book of the same name by the American author Veronica Roth. I have watched all three released movies and give reviews independently on them.

Divergent (2014)

I watched this movie in 2014 and this is what i have to say. At first it was little hard for me to digest the things happening in the movie as the story is set in a totally different world but, after sometime i was totally involved in this movie.

Story:- In a world where people are divided into distinct factions based on human virtues, Tris Prior is warned she is Divergent and will never fit into any one group. When she discovers a conspiracy by a faction leader to destroy all Divergent s, Tris must learn to trust in the mysterious Four and together they must find out what makes being Divergent so dangerous before it's too late.

My view:- Well the movie is kind of good and story felt satisfyingly convincing with good graphics. The only problem is that for watching this movie you have to be little attentive and it is not easy to grasp.

Insurgent (2015)

Next film in divergent series was Insurgent. watched it few months after its release.

Story:-Tris and Four are on the run. Hunted by Jeanine Matthews, leader of the Erudite faction, Tris and Four race against time as they try to figure out what Abnegation sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite leaders will do anything to stop them. Haunted by her past choices but desperate to protect the ones she loves, Tris faces one impossible challenge after another as she unlocks the truth about the past and ultimately the future of her world.

My view:-I have to say that this movie was a little improvement over the previous one in terms of better visual effects and Actions. But had the problem was with its complicated and odd story line. it might be because i don't  have taste for such movies it was good but not something that i will be over excited about

Allegiant (2016)

Another movie of the Divergent franchise i was excited to watch this movie hoping it to be better over its previous films. But, was totally disappointed.

Story:-Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris must quickly decide who she can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love.

My view:- Boring i just managed to completely watched it once the story gets boring and unreal even the characters appears to be dull in this film. in all not worth a watch but if you have watched previous films of the series then you will have to see this cant help it.

I will rate the whole series 3.5/5

The Time Machine (2002)

The Time Machine is a 2002 American science fiction film loosely adapted from the 1895 novel of the same name by H. G. Wells and the screenplay of the 1960 film of the same name by David Duncan. Plot:- In the year 1899, Dr. Alexander Hartdegen  is a young inventor teaching at Columbia University in New York City. Unlike his conservative friend David Philby, Alexander would rather do pure research than work in the world of business. After a mugger kills his fiancĂ©e, Emma, he devotes himself to building a time machine that will allow him to travel back in time and save her. When he completes the machine four years later, he travels back to 1899 and prevents her murder, only to see her killed by a horseless carriage. Alexander soon comes to realize that any attempt to save Emma will invariably result in her death through other circumstances. Distraught, Alexander travels forward in time to 2030 to discover if, by then, science has been able to solve his question of how to change ...
